Hi, I'm Liz! the Owner and Baker. I have always had a love of chocolate. Honestly who doesn’t?.
I have spent countless hours looking for the perfect recipe, and for a while, I had thought I had found it. The problem I noticed was that one bite did me in. It was too rich, too dense and overly sweet. That’s when I began tweaking the recipe, seeking to create the perfect cake. Is it perfect? Well, I’ll let the cake speak for itself. Be warned: many taste testers have claimed it “too good to have just one slice”.
Our Story
BEANWOOD COFFEE
Beanwood coffee was born from a special experience around 15 years ago. Elizabeth was visiting a coffee plantation in the hills of her hometown Puerto Rico. She was admiring a beautiful view in the mountains and said “Look at all those beans in the wood" She kept that moment close to heart and when she decided to found her first Bakery & Coffee Shop, she felt the same joy and excitement as that moment and that's how Beanwood was born in 2005.
